Roxie Mae Wilson, 90, of Pigeon Forge went home to be with her Lord and the rest of her family Saturday, February 1, 2003. Roxie began her journey at Pigeon Forge Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Ms. Wilson was a member of the Oldhams Creek Baptist Church.
Roxie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rachael Williams Wilson; sisters, Bertha Trentham, Sarah Trentham, Minnie Trentham; brothers, Eli and Misher Wilson.
Her nieces, Margaret Maples, Marie Cook and husband Burl; great niece, Patricia Maples and husband Dwight; great great niece, Hannah Maples; great great nephew, Robert Craig Maples survive her.
Service will be 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2003 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Donnie Jester and Rev. Scott Andrews officiating. Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 4 at Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Monday, February 3 at Rawlings Funeral Home.
