Bud was born in Tryon, North Carolina September 24, 1927 and moved with his family to Gatlinburg, Tennessee when he was a teen. Bud’s family was instrumental in bringing the mountain art of hand weaving over the mountain to East Tennessee. During his many years in Gatlinburg, Bud became one of the most respected and admired businessmen in the area. Bud was known as a very generous man and his reputation was of one who was always fair and honorable. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and golfing. He was preceded in death by his parent, B.G. and Clellie Foster, sisters Ella Huskey and Mable Davis, and his beloved son Randy Foster. Survivors: Love of his life: Mary King Foster Daughter and son-in-law: Vicki (Foster) and Ken Jenkins He also leaves behind: Brother: Scott Foster Brother-in-law: Scoop Davis Beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in honor and memory of Bud’s son Randy to the National Kidney Foundation, 4450 Walker Boulevard, Suite 2, Knoxville, TN 37917-1523 or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 6701 Baum Drive, Suite 240, Knoxville, TN, 37919 or in loving remembrance of Bud to American Stroke Association, Southeast Affiliate, P.O.
