Born: September 4, 1961 Lopasser, Michael D. –age 48 of South Knoxville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Michael was a 1980 graduate of Doyle High School and throughout high school and after, he worked in the family business which was Howards Greenhouse on Tipton Station Road. Several years later, Michael worked at Betty's Florist. He was a member at Tipton Station Church of Christ and at one time served as the church treasurer. Preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lopasser and his grandparents. Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Lopasser; sister, Kim Lewis; two nephews, Evan Cole and wife Sheena, Ethan Cole; aunts, Beulah Lopasser and Bea Sellers; numerous cousins and a host of friends. Family will receive friends 1:00-2:00pm Sunday at Tipton Station Church of Christ with a memorial service to follow at 2:00pm. Ministers Dennis Murphy and Eric Bonner officiating. Following the service family and friends will proceed in procession to DuPont Cemetery, Reagan Springs Road in Seymour, for an interment service.
