James Robert (Buddy) Harper, age 80, of Sevierville, passed away Saturday, January 05, 2008. Mr. Harper was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Pigeon Forge and worked at Cherokee Textile Mills for 47 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, S.D. and Zola Petty Harper, sisters, Devona Trentham, Sonja Pace, and brother, Clyde Harper.

Sons: Andrew Neal Harper and wife Evelyn, Charles Harper and wife Vickie, James Harper and wife Earlene
Grandchildren: Chuck Harper, Robbie Harper, Misty Harper, Eric Harper and wife Missy, Michael Harper

Sisters: Margaret Carpenter and husband Bill, Ruth Carr
Funeral service 7 PM Monday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel with Rev. Bob Barton officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 AM Tuesday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens for graveside service and interment with military honors provided by American Legion Post 104.
