Survivors: wife, Pauline Farris; son, Oliver C. Farris; daughters and sons in law, Ann and Paul Johnson, Elaine and James Bell, Vickey and Eddie Suggs; daughter in law, Brenda Farris; grandchildren, David Farris, Tonya and Cary Johnson, Christy Stidman, Lisa Bell; great grandchildren, Tyler, Anthony, Christopher Farris. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 1:30 p.m. graveside service with Dr. Alan Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 900 E. Hill Ave., Knoxville, TN 37915.
