Blanche was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church and was retired from Zoder’s Best Western in Gatlinburg after 38 years of service. Blanche was preceded in death by her parents Corida and Sam Ogle; brothers Verlus and Fred Ogle; and husband Loy Starkey. Blanche is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Hazel and Earl Wilson; sister-in-law Hazel Cooper; sons and daughters-in-law Jack and Dee Ann Starkey, Randy and Kathy Starkey; grandchildren Tommy Starkey and wife Tammy, Randall Starkey and wife Kimberly, Lisa Maples and Karri Hutchinson; step-grandchildren Mandy Henry, Sara Johnson and husband Cortney; great-grandchildren Austin and Winter Starkey, Nathaniel and Noah Starkey, Tori Guffey and Thunder Hutchinson; step-great-grandchildren Hannah, Maisie and Ella Johnson; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to say a special “thank you” to Caris Hospice. The family will receive friends 3-5 PM Saturday with funeral service to follow at 5 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home.
