Jack Ogle , 85 , of Greeneville , passed away Thursday at 6:35 p.m. at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Ogle retired from Ashland Oil Co.
Survivors include his wife: Jane Ogle ; three sons and daughters-in-law: Michael and Judy Ogle and Jerry and Becky Ogle of Knoxville, and Randy and Treva Wilhoit of Greeneville ; five daughters and two sons-in-law: Judy and John Cochran of Knoxville, Dottie Taylor of Soddy Daisy, Lena Cupp of Knoxville, Tawana Wilhoit of Greeneville , and Carla and Chris Whitson of Midway; 24 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Edna Lewis, Evelene Maples, Betty Jo and Bill Rudd, and Carol Ann and Bobby Stinnett, all of Seymour; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Thomas Eugene and Trish Malone; two sisters-in-law: Frances Myers and Ann Reynolds; and special friends: Harold Berry and Reban Early.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Garfield and Pearl Ogle ; a brother: Dewey Ogle ; and two sisters: Shirley Hood and Eunice Stinnett.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. today at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the downtown chapel with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Snapps Ferry Road. The Rev Tommy Collins will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Harold Berry, Reban Early, Devon Wilhoit, Dustin Wilhoit, Chris Whitson, Jacob Tipton, and Duane Wilburn.
