June 24, 1956 - July 26, 2014 Resided in Sevierville, TN Paul Rabon Owenby, age 58, of Sevierville, went home to be with the Jesus on Saturday, July 26, 2014, after a long and courageous battle. Paul attended Red Bank Baptist Church. Paul loved the outdoors, anything to do with tractors and machinery, and blue grass gospel music. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Juanita Owenby; sisters, Barbara Jane and Bettye Sue Owenby; and brother, Phillip Owenby. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Owenby of Alvin, TX; brother, Curtis Owenby; sisters, Billie Harper, Patricia Compton and husband, Ron, Gail Owenby, all of Sevierville, Debra Rogers of Jeffersonville, IN; Mary Lou Hackett and husband, Buzz of Saddlebrooke, AZ; sister-in-law, Vickie Owenby of Knoxville; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Service 3 pm Wednesday in the chapel at Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Sutton officiating. Interment 11 am Thursday in John Campbell Cemetery at Camp Smoky in Gatlinburg.
