May 31, 1938 - November 2, 2016 Jane Ownby Tallent, age 78, of Cleveland , passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland. Born on May 31, 1938 in Monroe County to the late Tom and Maude Green Ownby, she had lived in Bradley County for the past 30 years and was recently retired from Beaulieu of America. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Tallent; son. Manuel Tallent; grandsons, Andy and Johnny Tallent; sister, Mae Roberts; and brothers, Arvin, Roy, and James Ownby . Survivors include sons, Ray Tallent , Eddie Tallent, Timmy Tallent, and James Tallent all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Chase Tallent of Cleveland, Tasha Cruse of Cleveland , Michael Tallent of Chatsworth , Georgia and Timothy Tallent of Chatsworth, Georgia ; sisters, Helen Baker of Cleveland, Betty Adams of Madisonville and Mary Welch of Riceville and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. Graveside services will be conducted at 3p.m. Monday, November 7, 2016 from the Cane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Monroe County.
