BRACKIN , BARBARA LUCILLE - age 74 of NHC Healthcare, Bristol, VA, formerly of Maryville, TN, died Sunday, October 23, 2005 at Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol, TN. She was a member of Oak View Baptist Church. Mrs. Brackin was a 1949 graduate of Porter High School and a former employee of Southern Bell and South Central Bell. The family would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the 2nd floor staff of NHC Healthcare, the 4th floor staff of Wellmont Bristol Regional Center, and to the nursing staff of Wellmont Hospice House for the love and care given to Mrs. Brackin . She was preceded in death by: husband, Glenn E. Brackin parents, Harrison and Lula Howard brothers and sisters-in-law, John & Beulah Howard and James & Minnie Howard. She is survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Glenda & Ronnie Belitz of Bristol, TN granddaughter, Veronica Belitz of Knoxville, TN step-granddaughter, Tonda Reynolds and her husband Charlie of Hoschton, GA sister and brother-in-law, Ruby & George Ammons of Seymour, TN nieces and nephews, Ann Carol & Clyde Holsomback of Louisville, TN, Linda & Bruce Tackes of Seymour, TN, Arthella & Riley Mogford of Angleton, TX, and Ronnie & Dolores Howard of Houston, TX. Funeral service will be at 6:30 pm, Wednesday, October 26, 2005 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Glenn Gamble officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 27, 2005 at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: New Building Fund of Oak View Baptist Church, 2704 Ellejoy Road, Walland, TN 37886.
