REED, ARNOLD LEE - age 91 of Seymour, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Baptist Hospital. Mr. Reed attended Providence Baptist Church of Seymour. He is preceded in death by: parents, Hubert Reed and Josie Teague Reed; one sister, Celie Allen; and three brothers, Millard, Henry and Joe Reed. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Alice Plemons Reed; sister, Mae Reed Keener and husband Kenneth of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Highland South Funeral Home on Thursday, January 11, 2007 from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will follow at 7 PM. Family and friends will meet at Highland South Memorial Park on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. for committal services. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet in the cemetery by 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Franklin Graham or Gideons International, PO Box 429, Seymour, TN 37865.
