Watts, age 81 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012. She was a member of Murphy’s Chapel United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Watts; parents, Ephriam and Lucrettia Smelcer; sister, Mae Fox and brothers, Clay, Winfred and Newell Smelcer. Ruth is survived by her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Joann Watts; grandchildren, Alex Watts, and Samantha Ogle and husband Isaac Ogle; brothers and sister-in-law, Clyde Smelcer, Hugh and Erma Smelcer; sister-in-law, Fayetta Smelcer; several nieces and nephews; other special friends and family include Glenn and Shirley Carr, Ann King, nephew, Larry Stott , his wife Lana and their daughter Sarah. The family will receive friends 3-5 PM Sunday with funeral service to follow at 5 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. David Wilson officiating.
