Clercy Janie Wise age 87 of Newport passed away June 11, 2011 in Newport. She was of Baptist faith . She was preceded in death by her husband Hunley Wise, parents Oscar and Leva Wells, brothers Haskel, and Ralph Wells, sons in law Dewey Henderson and Johnny Herndon. She is survived by her daughters Dorothy Henderson , and Margie Herndon both of Newport, grandchildren Dale and Alecia Douglas of Gatlinburg, Jason and Melody Douglas of Newport, Jill Smith (companion Shawn Barton) of Newport, Jimmy Smith (companion Heather Curry ) Newport, Timmy Branam of Newport, Jackie Herndon (companion Calvin Reynolds) Newport, 8 great-grandcildren ; sisters Ada (Ross) Clevenger, Morristown Pauline Cole of Morristown, brothers Henry Wells, Oscar (Louise) Wells, Bruce (Pauline) Wells, Buddy Wells, Willy (Rose) Wells, Warrens Wells all of Morristown,. Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2011, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Phillips, and Rev. Gary Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery 10 a.m. Monday morning. Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
