She was a member of French Broad Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reed Cate and infant daughter, Patsy Sue Cate. Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law: Doris and Bill Underwood; Grandchildren: Jered Underwood and wife Beth, Amy Woody and husband Joe; Great Grandchildren: Peyton and Cameron Woody, Maddi and Megan Underwood Sisters-in-law: Gloria Huskey, Gene Whaley, Juanita Cate, Golda Catlett, Louise Kelly; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and special family members including Pat and Joanne Simpson; The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to devoted friend Georgeanna Morgan for all her love and support, as well as to the amazing staff at Sevierville Health and Rehab Center for all of their care and kindness they showed while Dora was at their facility.
