Vivian was a lifelong resident of Sevier County; she along with her husband (Hugh) owned Sevierville Tire Company from 1961 to 1993, when illness forced them to retire. She lived a Christian life and taught Christian morals and values to her family. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, C. Troy and Minnie Hicks Flynn; brothers, James Flynn and Billy Joe Flynn; mother-in-law, Iva Huskey Whaley; granddaughter, Kristy Webb, and great grandson, Nathan Lane Webb. She is survived by: Devoted husband of 61 years: Hugh Whaley; Daughters: Regena "Kaye" Webb and husband Larry, Sharon D. Manning and husband Ben; Son: Larry Hugh Whaley and wife Michelle; Grandchildren: Scott Webb, Mitchell Blalock, Catrina Whaley, Derina Elswick (Robbie), Barry Webb (April), and Jon Manning (Amy); Great Grandchildren: Bryan, Kelly, Zach, Tristen, Cassie, Aiden, Luke, Jake, Becky, David, Abby, Gabe, Aqua, Emily, and Katie; Great-Great Granddaughter: Kali. The family request no flowers, but for contributions be made to Walnut Grove Baptist Church, attn: Pastor Danny Matthews, 2199 Walnut Grove Rd., Sevierville, TN 37876 or to the charity of your choice.
