He was a retired employee of the White Store as a butcher. Preceded in death by wife, Ellen W. Loveday; daughter, Charlotte Ann Loveday. Survived by daughters and sons in law, Carolyn and Rev. Jack McCarter of Jefferson City, Jean and Don Spoon of New Market; sons and daughters in law, Coy Loveday, Lee and Vicki Loveday of Salem, MO, Rose Loveday of Jefferson City; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Helton of Sevierville, Ola Pruitt, Chestnut Hill, Nola Galyon of Seymour; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Teresia Murphy. Funeral service 8 p.m. Monday Fielden Chapel with Dr. Charles Hobbs and Rev. Jack McCarter officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday Jefferson Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Fielden Funeral Home New Market.
