Larry was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was and still is loved by many. Though we will dearly miss him, we know he now rests in peace in a much better place. He was preceded in death by his mother Sarah Ellen Berry Galyon Hicks; and father Loyd Galyon. Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law: Melissa Galyon-Bell and husband Dan Bell Son: Jason Galyon Grandchildren: Brandon, Jonathan, and Kristopher Sister and brother-in-law: Sandra and Jeff Latham Brother: Donnie Galyon Brother and sister-in-law: Vernon and Pam Galyon Nieces: Angela, Amy, Sarah, and Tammy Nephews: Wayne and Joey Numerous aunts, uncles, great-nieces and great-nephews The family would like to thank the staff of Baptist Hospital and all caregivers for their services and many thoughts and prayers. Funeral service 6 PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Little officiating. Family and friends will meet 3 PM Sunday at Dupont Cemetery for interment.
