Hobie Coggins, 72, of 1430 Clear Creek Rd., Parrottsville, went to be with his Lord Monday morning, September 9, 2002.
Mr. Coggins was a member of the Community Free Will Baptist Church and was a retired heavy equipment operator with the city of Bridgeton, New Jersey.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Harmon and Dolly (McMahan) Coggins; one daughter, Levon Hope Coggins; one sister, Effie Conard; and a granddaughter, Natasha Coggins.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma (Henderson) Coggins, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Dyana Coggins, of Newport; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Portia and Eugene Brown, of Parrottsville; Jimmy Edwards, of Bridgeton, NJ; Wanda Coggins, of Bridgeton, NJ; and Bonnie Edwards, of Millville, NJ; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jim and Helen Coggins, of Carson Springs, and Oscar Coggins, of Hartford; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Coggins will be missed by a host of friends in Bridgeton, New Jersey, also.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, September 10, 2002 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Timothy Jenkins officiating.
Graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Clark Cemetery (Hartford).
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to make final arrangements for Mr. Hobie Coggins.
