She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Carson Breeden; second husband, Stanley Hodge; parents, Robert and Nolia Word; sons, Don Word of Maryville and Larry Word of FL; daughter, Norma Jean Word; brothers, Kenneth and Robert Word; sister Hazel Dean Word. Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Carl Cole of Knoxville; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Essie Word of FL, Lester and Sharon Word of Maryville, Harold and Trudy Word of Maryville; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; brother, Glen Word of IN; sister, Stacey Russell of Maryville. Funeral Service will be 6:30 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2004 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 p.m Sunday, September 19, 2004 at Grandview Cemetery for the Interment. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000.
