He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Oscar, Hardy, and Penny Longmire, and a sister, Minnie Sander. Survived by: Wife of 57 years: Anna Kate Longmire Son: Gary Ray Longmire and wife Vonda Daughter: Debbie Longmire and partner Harold Rolen Grandchildren: Tonya Robertson and Joshua, Ashley Longmire, Joshua Rolen, and Candace Longmire Great Grandchild: Chloe Robertson Sister: Maggie Dood and Wilburn Several nieces and nephews In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to benefit the family at Atchley Funeral Home. Funeral service 5 PM Sunday in the chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. David Newman officiating.
