September 11, 1935 - December 22, 2017
Wilma June Breeden, 82, of Sevierville went to be with our Lord Jesus on Friday, December 22, 2017. June was born in a holler of the Jones Cove Mountains on September 11, 1935. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and worked many years in the Gatlinburg restaurant industry for Howard’s and Little Brown Jug. She also worked in management for the City of Gatlinburg. June was a private person who kept to herself. She loved to read novels, watch NASCAR on Sunday and Wild World of Wrestling. All was good at her house unless the power went out.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Asbury and Esta Breeden; brothers, Ralph and Cecil “Guy” Breeden; sister, Clara Breeden Adams; niece, Melanie Kay Adams; and her brother-in-law, Cotton Adams.
June is survived by her sister-in-law, Ina Breeden; nephews, Ronny Breeden and wife, Sandy, Mike Adams, Rick Adams and wife, Debra; and nieces, Kathy Adams, Karen Adams, and Gina Adams.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to all the many folks who had a part in caring for June, especially our Aunt Ina. We love you all.
No public services will be held as per June’s request. The family will gather together later. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com
