Ollie Lou Ella “Aunt Lou” Shults, 82, of Newport, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 3, 2002.
She was a homemaker and a member of Unity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Shults, and both parents, John and Bertie (Manes) McCarter.
Mrs. Shults is survived by one sister, Lillie Shepherd, of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Effie McCarter, of Newport; and special sister-in-law, Rosette Ball McCarter, of Newport; two very special nephews, John David McCarter and fiance Stacy Bunch, of Newport; and Michael Arthur and Sharon McCarter, also of Newport; extra special great-nephew, Caleb Ashton McCarter, of Newport; two special friends, Delia and Dovie Ball, of Sevierville; also many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, September 5, 2002 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, September 6, 2002 at Brown Funeral Home at 10 a.m. with Rev. Billy Ball officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to make final arrangements for Mrs. Ollie Shults.
