Williams, age 67, of Bybee, passed away Wednesday June 1, 2011 at his home after a brief battle with cancer. He was owner of Williams Brothers Greenhouse and Williams Brothers Farm along with his brother, Barnett. He is preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Lillie Mae Williams and brother Barnett Williams. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn “Blackie” Williams of Bybee; daughter Debbie Williams and Dale McMahan of Cosby; brothers Jim Williams and wife, Bobbie of Newport; Pat Williams and wife, Sandra of Morristown; Gary Williams of Newport; sister, Phyllis Douglas and husband, Ronnie of Newport; sisters-in-law Joyce Williams and Betty Webb, both of Newport; nieces and nephews, Wendy Franklin and Vonda Dunn; David and Darren Williams; Franklin Williams; Todd and Matt Douglas and Lori Black; Rusty and Chris Williams and Trayce Smith; and Stacy Webb Keller. He was blessed with many friends and family including his farm buddies, Robert Buckner, Bobby Woodson, Buddy Large, Tommy Vick, Hubert Chapman, Jimmy Hensley and Steve Freeman. He also had many special friends he made at Bybee Market, including Chelsea and Brittany Duncan. Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 pm, Saturday, June 4, 2011 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ned Ramsey, Rev. Wayne Wyatt, and Rev. Steve Freeman officiating. Entombment will be held 10:00 am, Sunday, June 5, 2011 in Resthaven Memorial Mausoleum.
