Lorene Watson Trentham (Granny, Aunt Rene) age 79 of Pigeon Forge went home to be with the Lord Monday Jan. 4, 2016. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Pigeon Forge for many years, especially involved with the choir, children's department and mission groups. She treated many of her family, friends and her children's friends like they were her very own kids.
She was preceded in death by: Parents, Robert G. (Little Bob) and Laura Watson
Brother and Sisters: Timm, Ila and Patricia Watson
Sister's in law: Helen Watson, Nell Trentham, Anna Lee Williamson, Ella Mae Franklin
Brother's in law: Shirdy, Harold and Rex Trentham
Nephew: Larry Trentham
She is survived by her husband of 56 years and faithful care giver: Fred Trentham
Children: Cindi Buckner (Brian), Bob Trentham (Dee Dee)
Grandchildren: Laura Buckner, Luke Trentham and Paul Taylor Trentham
Brother and Sister: Danny Watson (Shirley), Phyllis Russell (Danny)
Brother in law: A C Trentham
Sisters in law: Mary Trentham and Retha Trentham
Nieces & Nephews: Telisha Carr (Nathan), Sarah Houser (Taylor), Tim Russell (Kristi), Vickie Byrd, Marsha Ogle, Robby Watson (Chelsea), Misty Allen (Shawn Lowe), Monica Tipton (Kenneth), Mike Williamson (Robbie), Burl Trentham, Linda Frost (Al), Chris Trentham (Katy), Carmen Trentham, Dennis and Danny Trentham, Phillip Franklin (Rebecca). Several great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Naomi & Larry Timmons, Edna & Garry Kimble, Tommy & Gale Adams Pastor Dale Ellenberg and the Pigeon Forge First Baptist church family. Thank you to Dr. Littleton, U T Hospice and Florence Hayden for the excellent care given.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6:30 PM Thursday at First Baptist Church of Pigeon Forge with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Dale Ellenberg and Rev. Wayne Cook officiating. Family and friends will meet for the graveside service at 10 AM Friday in Atchley's Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens, 220 Emert Street, Pigeon Forge, TN.
