She was a member of New Beverly Baptist Church. Mrs. Maples was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce O. Maples; father, Roscoe Branam, and brother, Sherrill Branam. Her survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Clarence Nelson and Varnell and Doug Corne, all of Corryton; mother, Delia Branam of Knoxville; grandchildren, Eddie Nelson, Kathy Hembree, Diane Nelson, and Doug Corne, Jr.; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Hettie Stillwell, Viola Cooper, and Betty Noel; brother, Sherm Branam, all of Knoxville. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev. Elbert Kitts officiating. Interment will follow at Highland-Holly Hills South Cemetery.
