She was a long standing member of Sims Chapel Baptist Church where she faithfully attended as long as her health allowed. She was retired from Cherokee Textile Mills where she worked in Knoxville and Sevierville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kirby, parents, Alvin and Pearlie Arlena Branam, brother Wayne Branam, sister, Myrtle Dalton. She is survived by her sister Edith Gregg and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Galen Richmond officiating. Family and friends will meet 1PM Sunday at Sims Chapel Cemetery for interment. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
