Blanche McCroskey Tarver Gulyash, age 86, of Sevierville, TN graduated to heaven on Friday, October 21, 2011. She was born to Kate and Mack McCroskey on Dec. 6, 1924.
She lived many years in Ukiah and Santa Rosa, CA before moving back to Sevierville in 1991. During her lifetime, she worked for the FBI in Washington DC, as secretary to an Ophthalmologist in CA. ,and for the Social Security Office in CA. She was an active member of Holy Cross Church for many years. She was a volunteer at the former “Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center” now LeCount Medical Center, a supporter of Alzheimers of TN, and Walter State Community College.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Eugene Tarver and second husband Dr. Joseph Gulyash, brothers; William, Ernest , and Wayne McCroskey, sisters; Lucille McCroskey, Dora McCroskey, Gertrude Blazer and Nelle Hardin.
Survivors include daughters and husbands; Shirley and William Sage of Lake Wales, FL and Donna and Carl Duke of Shelton, WA. Four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Sister; Alma McCroskey Curtis of Sevierville. Sister-in-law; Lorene Bogner of Ukiah, CA

The family will receive friends 1-2 PM Monday with a funeral service to follow at 2 PM at First United Methodist Church in Sevierville with Rev. Bruce Adams and Rev. Drew Henry officiating.
