He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Pauline Barnes; brothers, Bill, Tom and Jack Barnes; sisters, Joann Barnes and Ruby Lawson. Survivors include: Wife, Wanda G. Barnes Daughters, Angela Barnes Anderson and husband Chris, Betsy Barnes Warren and husband Tim Grandchildren, Korey Brandenburg, Ashton Brandenburg, Madison Pickel, MacKenzie Warren and Allie Harpst-Anderson Brother, Joe Barnes Sister, Nancy Byrd In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to American Heart Association, Southeast Affiliate, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Wolfenbarger officiating. Interment 10 AM Thursday in Middle Creek Cemetery with Pastor David May officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6:45PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
