PERRYMAN, ERNEST CLYDE - age 82 of Seymour passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Brakebill Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was a member of Galilee Baptist Church and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Agnes Hurst Parryman; parents, William Henry and Sarah Elizabeth Perryman; sisters, Rittie, Reba, and Anna Lee; brothers, Oscar, Fred, and Louis Alvin. He is survived by daughters, Carol and her husband Tim Mikels of Knoxville and Sandra Perryman of Seymour; son, Mark and his wife Terri Perryman of Knoxville; grandchildren, Grace and Matthew Mikels; several, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends. His family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Cindy Pearman, the staff at Brakeville Nursing Home, and the staff at Williamsburg Villas Assisted Living for their competent and compassionate care. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 25, 2009 from 5-7pm at Galilee Baptist Church, with the funeral to immediately follow; ministers Troy Cody and W.A. Gaylon officiating.
