Perryman, Agnes Louise Hurst – age 79 of Seymour, died early Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Brakebill Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born February 15, 1930 in Sevierville. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Hurst and Myrtle Williams Hurst; her brothers John and Eugene; and her sister Ruth. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ernest Clyde Perryman; daughter Sandra Perryman of Seymour; daughter and son-in-law Carol and Tim Mikels of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Terri Perryman of Knoxville; grandchildren Grace and Matthew Mikels; sisters Blanche, Faye, Eurithea and Ellaree; brother Paul; sister-in-law Mary; several cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. Her family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Cindy Pearman, the staff at Brakebill Nursing Home, and the staff at Williamsburg Villas Assisted Living for their competent and compassionate care. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. at Galilee Baptist Church, with the funeral to immediately follow. Family and friends will meet at Highland South Funeral Home on Sunday for a 3:00 p.m. committal service.
