Raymond Doyle Ball, 66, of Gatlinburg, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arch and Haley Ball, and four brothers. He is survived by his wife, Sue Ball, of Gatlinburg; sons, Doyle W. and wife Penny K. Ball, of Gatlinburg, and Lynn and wife Karen Ball, of Sevierville; grandson, Brandon D. Ball, of Powell; brothers, Delmer, Clyde and Zelmer Ball, all of Gatlinburg; sisters, Viola Cardwell, of Maryville, and Trula Shults, of Sevierville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Allen and the Rev. Ed Parton officiating with burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in Webb Creek Cemetery.
