Ted (Rednose) Bales, age 85 of Seymour, passed away Sunday evening September 14, 2008 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a member of Lockland Baptist Church in Lockland, OH, and was a Veteran of the United States Army Serving in World War II.
Preceding him in death are his parents: John Wesley and Caldonia (Cody) Bales, and infan brother: Grant Bales. Survivors include his sister: Mary Ellen King of Pigeon Forge; special friends and caregivers: Ronnie Sue Lowe, and James (Jamie) Covington; special cousin: Bud Compton; also several other cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, September 16, 2008 in the chapel of Rawlings Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Family and friends will meet in the Gist Creek Cemetery Wednesday September 17, 2008 at 12:45 PM for the graveside services beginning at 1:00 PM with the Reverend Troy Cody officiating and Military Honors provided by American Legion Post #104.
