Charles Keener Ivey, age 83, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2007. He was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church, a 50 year member of Sevier Lodge #334, 50 year member of Chilhowee O.E.S #450. He was a WWII veteran, Battle of the Bulge. A graduate of Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy, and was retired from Knoxville Mack Distributers.
He enjoyed watching sports, UT football and basketball with family and especially with his friends, “The Bowl Sisters”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A.R and Pauline Keener Ivey, brothers, James O., John A. and Carlos Ivey, son, James Gregory Ivey and grandson Damon Ivey.

Wife and best friend of 59 years: Lovana Riggs Ivey
Daughter and son-in-law: Vanna and Joe Holbert
Sons and daughter-in-law: Phillip Ivey, Doug and Anne Marie Ivey
Grandchildren: Amy and husband Arthur Brackins, Jana and husband Shannon Patterson, Amanda Holbert, Heather, Ashlee and Shannon Ivey, and Justin Ivey
