Underwood, Helen Atchley, age 84, of Heiskell, formerly of Knoxville, passed away November 17, 2006 at St. Mary’s Hospice. She retired from Commonwealth Life Insurance C. and was a member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis Underwood; parents, Odas L. and Alice Hillard Atchley; sisters, Barbara Brooks, and Mildred Luallen; brothers, William T, O.L., and Jack Atchley.
Survivors
Survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Anne and Donald J. Phillips of Roswell, GA, Judy and Robert L. Brewer of Knoxville; grandchildren, Brandon S. Phillips of Marietta, GA, Dr. Joel C. Phillips and wife Dr. Carrie Ann Twedt Phillips of Greenville, SC, Robert L. Brewer, Jr. and wife Dawn of Knoxville, Jennifer and husband Lake Allison of Knoxville; great grandchildren, Ashton Twedt Phillips and Ava Twedt Phillips of Greenville, SC, Curt Brewer and Heather Brewer of Knoxville, Brianna Johnson, and Brooke Allison of Knoxville.
Service
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. Graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Monday at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Rev. Sean White officiating
