He attended Providence Baptist Church and was a well known carpenter for many years. Preceding him in death are his wife: Minnie Louise (Thomas) Arwood; parents: Hooch and Willie (Keeller) Arwood; brothers: F.B. (Buck) and Posty Arwood; sister: Peggy Henry. Survivors include his son Carlos Arwood and wife Diane; grandchildren: Danny Gibson, Marie Arwood and John Pittman, Rebecca Arwood, Jeff and Kim Helton, Heather Arwood and Julie Williams, Jessica and Ritchie Dudley, Jennifer Arwood, Matt Johnson, and April Malone all of Sevierville; great-grandchildren: Blake Gibson, Michelle Brown, Courtney Gibson, Garrett and Laney Helton, Gaven Dudley, and Alyssa Pittman all of Sevierville, brothers: Charles and Oliver Arwood both of Sevierville, and his faithful dog “Harry Potter”. The family will receive friends Saturday evening February 2, 2008 in the chapel of the Rawlings Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held Sunday February 3, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the Rawlings Funeral Home with the Reverends Gregg Causey and Lowell Wilson officiating.
