Coy Earl Walton , age 92, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2004, at Hillcrest-West Nursing Home in Knoxville. He was of the Baptist Faith and retired from ALCOA and a member of the 25-year club. Survivors include wife of 31 years, Mildred Allen Dixon Walton ; daughters and son-in-law, Marie and Sonny Brown and Katherine Walton , all of Knoxville; grandchildren, Kevin Brown, Michael Brown, Michelle Stringfield, Bruce Dixon, Sarah Parts, Elana Jenkins, Troy Dixon, and Tyler Dixon; great- grandchildren, William Michael Brown, Chase Doane, Chassity Doane, and Ryan Doane, Holly Stringfield, Lance Latham, Nikki Latham, Jonas Dixon, Isaiah Prats, and Noah Prats; step children, Marilyn Hill of Alcoa, Steve and wife, Lori Dixon of Knoxville and Ben and wife, Velma Dixon of Rockford; several brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2004, at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Ronald Morton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Clark's Grove Cemetery for the interment service. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
