May 17, 1927 - February 25, 2015 Resided in Gatlinburg, TN Ersa "Helen" Patterson, age 87, of Gatlinburg, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015. She was a woman of great faith and loved her family with all her heart. Helen has been a member of Zion Grove Baptist Church since her childhood. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Maude Louella Blalock Noland and Robert W. Noland; son, Darrell Kent Robbins; siblings, Herman Noland, Kitty Noland Wilmoth, Rex Noland, Dot Noland, Thomas "Tom" Noland, and Georgia Noland Watson. Helen is survived by her granddaughter, April Robbins Parton and Steve Parton; grandson, Jason Bailey and family; great-grandchildren, Jade and Justice Parton, Breanna and Garett Bailey; daughter-in-law, Kay Robbins Dowling; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Pigeon Forge Care and Rehabilitation for their kindness and care. The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Saturday with the funeral service to follow at 6 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Leroy Parton officiating. Interment 2 PM Sunday in Middle Creek Cemetery with Ronnie Howard, Steve Parton, Nathan Wilson, Aaron Wilson, Bobby McCarter, Richard Dowling, Michael Rawlings, and Brian Whittle serving as pallbearers.
