Sherman Ralph Quinton (September 13, 1923 - August 10, 2005)
Quinton, Sherman Ralph., age 81, of Friendsville, passed away Wednesday morning August 10, 2005 at the family home. He was a member of Laurel Bank Baptist Church. He was retired from ALCOA and a member of the 25 Year Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Linda Russell Quinton; and brothers, J. C., Glenn, and Lawrence. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Pauline Quinton; daughters, Dianne Tuck Brock, Lynda Quinton Campbell, and Pamela Gibson; brother, Allie D. Quinton; sisters, Jewell Buchanan, Katie Ailey, and Ruby Patton; grandchildren, Robin Tuck Jones, Bethany Campbell, Staci Tuck Lawson, Brandy Mincey, Quinton Howell, and Stefan Thompson; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. Funeral service will be held 8:00 PM Thursday, August 11, 2005 at Miller Funeral Home Cedar Chapel, Rev. Jim Wells and Rev. Charles Bailey officiating. Interment will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 12, 2005 at Laurel Bank Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville – www.millerfuneralhome.org.
