Minnie Louise Allen, age 77 of Cosby went to be with her Lord Saturday, October 7, 2006 in Morristown. Louise was a member of Stokely Baptist Church and worked at Stokely as a laborer. She worked with flowers and made bracelets and was an artist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake Keller and Sarah (Breeden) Keller; husband of 44 years, John (Johnny) Allen; infant son, Arville Elvis Allen and Billy Allen; foster son, Jerry Lee Waters Sr; one sister and one brother also preceded her in death. Louise is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ella Faye and Virgil Manos of Cosby and Larry Allen; fifteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Also surviving are special friends, Paul Parton, Kathy Durham of Newport, Mike and Pattie McFarland of Newport, Louianna Ellis of Newport. The family will receive friends Sunday and Monday at the home, 2319 Dark Hollow Rd, Cosby. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, September 10, 2006 at Stokely Baptist Church with Rev. Carroll Crumbley officiating. Interment will follow in Stokley Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mrs. Louise Minnie Allen.
