May 16, 1941 - April 08, 2018 Dewey Dan Wilson age 76 of Pigeon Forge, TN. passed away peacefully at home after a long struggle with Parkinson’s and Dementia. He was surrounded by his wife and loved ones. Dewey retired after 35 years from Cherokee /Dan Rivers Textile Mill. As a young man Dewey loved to hunt and fish and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Jane Maples Wilson; sisters, Bernice Shults and husband, Earl; Gladys Morgan and husband Herman; brothers, Luther, and Eugene Wilson. Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Zelma Wilson; sister-in-law, Ethel Mae Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Amedisys hospice nurses and for all the loved ones that made call and visits. A very special thank you to his grand nieces, Patience Floyd- Ownby and husband, Chris; Destiny “Lashay”: Floyd; Sister-in-law Josephine Maples and Clarence Ogle, niece Patricia Floyd and husband, Steve.
