Steven Joseph Hohenbrink, age 35, of Sevierville passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015. He was born and baptized in Florida. Steven attended Smoky Mountain Christian Church. He was a dedicated employee for A & A Rentals for 10 years. Steven was an avid fan of football and baseball. The Chicago Cubs were his favorite team and he followed Andre Dawson's career. Steven enjoyed hiking and even climbed to the top of Mount LeConte with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Jean Matthews and her husband, James "Buddy" Matthews; and his brother, Roger "Skip" Hohenbrink.
Steven is survived by his father, Roger Hohenbrink and his wife, Judy; sister, Tammy Justus; brother, Chris Owen; niece, Samantha Justus; nephew, Michael Justus and wife, Stephanie; great-nephew, Sebastian Justus; step-grandmother, Mary Jane Dowdy; step-sister, Sherra Lynn Ullrich and husband, Art; step-brother, Rodger Jackson and wife, Millie; and many loving friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smoky Mountain Christian Church, 125 South Boulevard, Sevierville, TN 37862.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, Feb. 26th with the funeral service to follow at 7pm in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville, with Rev. Phil Curry officiating.
