DANDRIDGE-Emma Faye Lane, age 88, of Dandridge, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. She was a member of Swannsylvania Baptist Church for more than 76 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Lane and parents, Lem and Ada Hall.
Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Joy Lane and Don and Janie Lane and daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Dennis Strange, all of Dandridge; grandchildren and spouses, Shawn and Christine Gray, of Strawberry Plains, Todd and Mary Lane, of Morristown, Sherri and Randy Hodge, of Rutledge, Jason Lanc, of Dandridge, and Malinda and Ryan Holt, of Greeneville; great-grandchild, Andrew Gray, of Strawberry Plains; brother, Grover Hall, of Dandridge; several nieces and nephews; and the special Sunday School class friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2002, at the Swannsylvania Baptist Church with Brother Mike Hensley officiating. The body will lie in state for 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Swannsylvania Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2002, at the funeral home in Dandridge.
