Dottie Brown passed away at home on Friday July 22, 2005. Born March 27, 1960, she was 45. She was a member of the Laurel Springs Christian Church in Cosby.
She is survived by her husband, Dwight Brown, of the home; step son, Jamie Brown of New Jersey; by her mother, Sue Williams of Newport; two sisters, Dennie Williams and Debbie Burgin and her husband Sammy Burgin of Newport; two brothers, Marty Williams and Chip Williams, and his three children, Samantha, Saxton, and Sandon Williams, all of Newport; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tommy and Roma Brown of Cosby; two sisters-in-law, Rennie Fisher and her husband Jim Fisher and Tammy Brown, all of Cosby, the love of her life, her children, Chad Styles and Mindy Styles, Chad’s wife Shea Styles and their children, Chad Styles II and Jaylon, and Mindy’s son, Jared Jones, all of Cosby. Additional survivors include special friends, Opel Mathis, Dr. Tom Conway, Jabo and Tammy Francis, all of Newport, and several aunts and uncles.
Dottie was preceded in death by her father, the late Sam Williams and by Chad and Mindy’s father, Richard Styles.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be sent to Laurel Springs Christian Church, 4848 Hooper Highway, Cosby, TN 37722.
