Williams, age 57 of Cosby passed away Thursday January 12, 2006 at her home. She was a hairdresser for at least 38 years and loved each one of her customers as they where her family! She attended Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Bat Harbor. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Mantooth. She is survived by her husband, Jack Williams; daughters and sons-in-law, Lesa and Bryan Allen, Jacklyn and Jeremy Clevenger; very special granddaughter, Maddie Allen; mother, Vera Mantooth; sisters, Vesta Lane and husband, Roger; Rilda Mantooth and husband, Dan Grooms; brother, Billy Mantooth and wife, Sheila; a host of nieces and nephews; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Opal and Leroy Mathis; sisters-in-law, Blondie Smallwood, Helen Grooms and Allene Costner, Shirley Williams and Tina Williams all of Newport; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Herman and Renie Williams of Texas, Theodore and Theda Williams of Newport. She had several very special friends, Linda Sue Combs, Ernestine Butler, Louise Brown and Sue Williams and a host of others. Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Friday January 13, 2006 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Gary Miller officiating, with burial 11 a.m. Saturday January 14, 2006 in Inman Cemetery.
