MOORE , POSIE W . - age 86, passed away at Baptist Hospital Saturday, May 25, 2002. A faithful member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and member of Men's Sunday school class. Preceded in death by wife, Delilah Clark Moore ; mother and father; brother, Charles; sisters, Lossie & Faye. Survived by daughter, Elizabeth Latham of Seymour; sons and daughters in law, Wayne and Peggy Moore of Seymour, Gene and Shelba Moore of Knoxville, Hugh and Debbie Moore of Knoxville, Gary and Judy Moore of Seymour; brother and sister in law, John and Estalee Moore ; sisters and brothers in law, Fannie and Robert Cody, Edna and Bruce Carr; sister, Ruth Ownby; sister in law, June Moore ; brother in law, Howard Pitner; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 28, 2002 from 6-7:30 at Highland South Funeral Home with a funeral service to be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Floyd Powell and Rev. W .A. Galyon officiating. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday May 29, 2002 at 10 a.m. in Highland South Cemetery. Highland South Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy. has arrangements, 573-7300.
