She was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon and Carrie (Hale) Gilbert; daughters, Darline Allen and Kathy Waldrop; grandsons, Russ Allen and Evan Shults; brother Moody Gilbert; sisters, Polly Gilbert, Addie Mae Holt, Virginia Gilbert and Marie Johnson. She is survived by her children, Vickie (Mike) Clinard, Terry (Randy) Redmond, Jackie (Julie) Kitchen, and Sharon Shults; grandchildren, Melissa Cureton, Fred Allen, Amanda Allen Curtis, LeeAnn Waldrop, Hunter and Halle Kitchen; sisters, Betty (Chuck) Henderson and Sadie Steelman; and special friends Bill Raines, Fred Allen, Sr. and Donnie Ball; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 pm Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Manes Funeral Home with Tommy Golmon officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Monday, October 21, 2013 at Hale-Houston Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm Sunday prior to funeral services.
