Dovie, age 76, went home to be with her Lord whom she loved, Friday, March 2nd, 2007 as the result of a sudden illness. She is survived by her five children: Jimmy Teague, Janet Compton, Jess Frank Sane and Sissy Ivy. She also had six grandchildren; Brian Ellison, Heather Ivy, Sherman Sane, Joseph Sane, Emily Sane and Chucky Busler: great grandchild, Megan Ellison. Dovie was the middle child of thirteen children and survived by her sister, Valerie Lane Hurley; and brother, Seldon Presnell. She was a faithful member of New Beginnings Independent Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Monday, March 5, 2007 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm, with Pastor Gary Ball officiating. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, March 6, 2007 in Presnell Family Cemetery.
