She was a member of Tarklin Valley Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Stanley V. Henry; parents, Ester and Obet Brown; brother, Roy Brown. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Mae Lou and Marvin Goins of Louisville, Lavern and Robert Ogle of Seymour, Sue and Jerry Gates of Straw Plains, Stella and Joe Neher of Seymour, Freda Baker and Glenn Smith of Chicago; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul A. (Bud) and Jane Henry of Knoxville, Larry and Brenda Henry of Knoxville, David Henry of Walland, Jerry Henry and Judy Ward of Knoxville, John and Tracy Henry of Rockford; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Brown of Knoxville; sister, Mable Dorsey of Maryville. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2002, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary. Funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2002 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Dennis Robinson officiating.
