BRABSON, MRS. IRENE VIVIAN MONTGOMERY - of Knoxville, departed this life peacefully at N.H.C. Nursing Home, Friday, August 29, 2003. A member of Foster Chapel Baptist Church. Daughter of the late, Porter and Mary Willis Montgomery. Survived by devoted husband, James W. Brabson son, John Montgomery and fiance', Geneva Howard two step children two grandchildren, John Montgomery, Jr. and Crystal McMahan three great-grandchildren devoted sister, Deborah Scott sister-in-law, Mary Brabson Foust, and a host of several devoted nieces and nephews to include, Betty (John) Wilson, Alberta Bennett, and Mary Montgomery Tate, and many other relatives and devoted friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 3, 2003, 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Foster Chapel Baptist Church, 4012 Oakland Dr., funeral services to follow, Rev. R. N. McGhee, officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Thursday in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will assemble at the home of her sister, Deborah Scott, 3751 Catalpa Ave.. Arrangements by Jarnigan and Son Mortuary.
