She loved her church, Antioch Baptist, and was a faithful member for 61 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arnold Parton, parents, W.C. and Ethel Baker, brothers, Otha and Austin Baker, and sister, Tessalee Baker. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law; Pat and David Rapking, of Madisonville, TN, granddaughters; Kellie Burnette and husband Pat of Ellajay, GA, and Karen Rapking of Madisonville, TN, great-grandchildren; Jordan Sliker, Samantha Sliker, Lucas Killen of Madisonville, and Logan Burnette of Ellajay, GA, sisters; Mary Reagan and husband Tony of Seymour, Dixie Gibson of Manchester, Betty Sue Whedbee of Knoxville, brother; Paul Baker and wife Hester of Seymour, sister-in-law; Rhea Baker of Newport; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews that she loved and was proud of. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Antioch Baptist Church Building Fund, 619 Whites School Road, Sevierville, TN 37876. Funeral service 7 PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Kelling officiating. Family and friends will meet 2 PM Sunday in Pleasant Hill Cemetery for graveside service and interment. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
